Proofs are only sent if requested at the point of order. Please add a note at checkout if you would like a proof before printing.

Please note that production will not begin until the proof has been approved.
Once artwork has been approved, we are usually unable to make changes due to our quick turnaround times.

Sticker sheets can only contain one design/layout per sheet. We do not place multiple different designs on a single sticker sheet.
If you order multiple sheets, we may be able to split the order across different designs on a per-sheet basis.
For example, if you order 10 sheets of 30mm circles, we may be able to print 5 sheets with design 1 and 5 sheets with design 2.
If you need different sizes, shapes or layouts, these need to be ordered separately so each version is set up correctly.
We want you to be satisfied with your order and the service you receive. In the unlikely instance that something that’s not quite right, we will be more than happy to help resolve your problem.
Simply take an photo which shows the issue and send it across to us at info@skiptonlabels.co.uk along with your name and order reference number within 30 days of your product being received.
As soon as we recieve the email, we will be in touch to get it fixed!

Artwork

The most popular design programs are Adobe photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Microsoft office.
We can work with many file types, just try to send the largest available so it is high quality to ensure a good print.
Most customers prefer to use .JPG, .PNG, .PDF & .PSD
If you dont have any of those files get in touch and we will be able to assist.
Yes, all artwork is manually checked before printing. If we spot any obvious issues or concerns, we will contact you before production.
Please note that we cannot always detect every issue, so it is important to check spelling, layout, sizing and details carefully before ordering.
You can still place an order even if you dont have your artwork yet. Just place a note on the order at checkout letting us know that youll send it when its available.
A bleed is printing term that for an area that can be trimmed when the design is cut to the finished size.
This is to ensure that there are no white edges on the final print.
If you dont know how to add a bleed we can always try and add one for you, just make sure that you leave atleast 3mm space around the edges of your design (clear of text etc)
If we are unable to add a bleed we will provide a proof with a black or white border which best suite your particular design.
The resolution of an image indicates how detailed the image will look when printed. Low resolution text and images will come out slightly blurry or pixelated.
Images pulled from the internet or social media websites are often low resolution. It is always better to use photographs or images from stock websites. If possible try use 300dpi for the best prints.
If we ever recieve artwork that we are concerned may be to low resolution we contact you to see if you have anything else available.
Colours can look different on screen compared with print. Screens use RGB colour, which is designed for digital displays, while printing uses CMYK ink.
RGB artwork can contain bright colours that cannot always be recreated exactly in print. For the most accurate colour results, artwork should be supplied in CMYK where possible.
The finish can also affect the final look. Matte media can make colours appear slightly darker, while gloss media can make colours look richer and more vibrant.

Yes, if you are ordering die-cut stickers, we can add a suitable cut line around your design.

You do not need to supply a cut line yourself, although you are welcome to include one if you already have it.

If we think the cut line needs adjusting for the best result, we may make small changes or contact you before printing.

In many cases, yes. If your image has a simple or plain background, we can usually remove it before printing.
For best results, please upload the highest quality version of your artwork, ideally as a PNG, PDF, SVG or another high-resolution file.
If the background is complex, blurry or very low resolution, we may need a better file or may contact you before printing.

Products

Die-cut stickers are individual loose stickers that are cut around the shape of your design, rather than supplied on a sheet.
They are a great option for logos, product labels, packaging, giveaways, branding, jars, bottles and general business use.
It depends on the product ordered.
Our standard sticker sheets are not waterproof, as they are printed on sticker sheet material using inks that are not designed for regular contact with water.
Our waterproof vinyl die-cut stickers are printed on durable vinyl using eco-solvent inks, making them suitable for normal indoor and outdoor use where they may come into contact with water.
They are not intended for extreme use such as dishwashers, heavy scrubbing, harsh chemicals or long-term soaking unless specifically stated.
We would advise against using stickers on fabrics as it is incredibly difficult to predict how the adhesive may react,
We can stock a fabric safe media which is suitable for advertising on garments etc. please get in tough for a custom quote.
Bespoke size –  If there is a specific size you need please let us know, we can cut almost all our product in exact sizes and shapes and will absolutley be able to help
Bespoke media  – If your wanting something that we dont offer, fabric safe, clear, craft paper, metallic backing, foil etc we will most likely be able to source it and still provide the product although it may take a touch longer than a normal order.
Matte has a softer, non-shiny finish and gives a more subtle look.
Gloss has a shiny finish and can make colours look richer and more vibrant.
Please note that colours can appear slightly different depending on the finish chosen. Matte finishes may appear slightly muted, while gloss finishes can look more vivid.
Sticker sheets contain multiple stickers supplied on a backing sheet. They are usually the more economical option and are great for packaging, labels, events and general use.

Our sticker sheets and die-cut stickers can use different materials and finishes, so please check the product description before ordering.
Yes, stickers can be used on bottles, jars and containers, provided the surface is clean, dry and smooth.
They work best on flat or gently curved surfaces. Very tight curves, textured surfaces, oily surfaces or flexible materials may affect how well the sticker sticks.
For best results, apply carefully and test on an inconspicuous area first if you are unsure.
