Ordering
Proofs are only sent if requested at the point of order. Please add a note at checkout if you would like a proof before printing.
We aim to send proofs as quickly as possible, but this can take up to 24-48 hours.
Please note that production will not begin until the proof has been approved.
Once artwork has been approved, we are usually unable to make changes due to our quick turnaround times.
If you spot an issue, please contact us as soon as possible. If the order has not entered production, we may still be able to help.
All of our prices are on the product pages, however if you cannot find the product or quantity you are needing please get in touch and we will absolutley be able to advise
Sticker sheets can only contain one design/layout per sheet. We do not place multiple different designs on a single sticker sheet.
If you order multiple sheets, we may be able to split the order across different designs on a per-sheet basis.
For example, if you order 10 sheets of 30mm circles, we may be able to print 5 sheets with design 1 and 5 sheets with design 2.
If you need different sizes, shapes or layouts, these need to be ordered separately so each version is set up correctly.
We want you to be satisfied with your order and the service you receive. In the unlikely instance that something that’s not quite right, we will be more than happy to help resolve your problem.
Simply take an photo which shows the issue and send it across to us at info@skiptonlabels.co.uk along with your name and order reference number within 30 days of your product being received.
As soon as we recieve the email, we will be in touch to get it fixed!
Artwork
The most popular design programs are Adobe photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Microsoft office.
We can work with many file types, just try to send the largest available so it is high quality to ensure a good print.
Most customers prefer to use .JPG, .PNG, .PDF & .PSD
If you dont have any of those files get in touch and we will be able to assist.
Yes, all artwork is manually checked before printing. If we spot any obvious issues or concerns, we will contact you before production.
Please note that we cannot always detect every issue, so it is important to check spelling, layout, sizing and details carefully before ordering.
You can still place an order even if you dont have your artwork yet. Just place a note on the order at checkout letting us know that youll send it when its available.
A bleed is printing term that for an area that can be trimmed when the design is cut to the finished size.
This is to ensure that there are no white edges on the final print.
If you dont know how to add a bleed we can always try and add one for you, just make sure that you leave atleast 3mm space around the edges of your design (clear of text etc)
If we are unable to add a bleed we will provide a proof with a black or white border which best suite your particular design.
The resolution of an image indicates how detailed the image will look when printed. Low resolution text and images will come out slightly blurry or pixelated.
Images pulled from the internet or social media websites are often low resolution. It is always better to use photographs or images from stock websites. If possible try use 300dpi for the best prints.
If we ever recieve artwork that we are concerned may be to low resolution we contact you to see if you have anything else available.
Colours can look different on screen compared with print. Screens use RGB colour, which is designed for digital displays, while printing uses CMYK ink.
RGB artwork can contain bright colours that cannot always be recreated exactly in print. For the most accurate colour results, artwork should be supplied in CMYK where possible.
The finish can also affect the final look. Matte media can make colours appear slightly darker, while gloss media can make colours look richer and more vibrant.
Yes, if you are ordering die-cut stickers, we can add a suitable cut line around your design.
You do not need to supply a cut line yourself, although you are welcome to include one if you already have it.
If we think the cut line needs adjusting for the best result, we may make small changes or contact you before printing.
